Gingerbread pancakes are back! One of our guests favorites! And we want to share the recipe with you.
Ingredients:
1 3/4 c flour
2 t baking powder
2 t baking soda
1 t ginger
1 t cinnamon
1/4 t allspice
1/4 t salt
2 eggs
2 c buttermilk
2 T melted butter
2 T brown sugar
2 T maple syrup
Directions:
- Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Combine all wet ingredients in a medium bowl.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix just until combined. (Do not over mix).
- Warm a greased griddle on medium heat.
- Cook until golden brown.
- Makes 10-12 4-inch pancakes
